Hi. I am Ellen Arnold. I am addicted to brains. I love learning more about how brains work and how to help them work better. My mission is to provide materials and trainings that support children, teenagers, college students, adult learners and parents in learning more about their brains' efficiency and effectiveness. 

Expertise:
I have developed a way of uncovering the expertise of learners through observations, conversation and exploration of the way each learner masters things in their lives. My expertise is NOT that I know so much, but that I know how to get learners to identify what they already know about when and how their own brains work.

Rationale:
In my quest to learn more about brains, I have learned many theories, philosophies and techniques. Although many systems have value, the strength based framework that I have found most helpful is the theory of multiple intelligences; that we all have many ways we can think and learn. Intelligence Avenue is a metaphor for the various routes available to all of us. It is a roadway filled with bridges, stepping stones and alternative connections, just like our brains.
